Is there a free version?
Yes. SkyView offers a free tier — no license required. Install it and connect up to 2 cameras for live preview and recording playback. AI detection, natural-language video search and automation unlock with a license; upgrade anytime and your data and settings are preserved.
Do recordings get deleted when my license expires?
No. Expiration only blocks new client activations — existing recordings, playback and events stay fully accessible. Live preview and AI detection pause until you renew.
What does 'two deployments' mean for Lifetime?
You can run SkyView on up to two physical servers (for example living room + garage) at the same time with one license. Each server still supports unlimited cameras.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The client checks in once every 24 hours and tolerates up to 7 days without internet. After that, live preview and AI detection pause and resume automatically once online again.
Which cameras are supported?
Any ONVIF / RTSP IP camera. Hikvision / Dahua / Uniview ship as one-click templates; everything else uses a paste-the-URL flow.
How soon will I receive my license?
Until automated checkout ships, licenses are issued manually — typically within one business day via email. Once payment integration goes live, issuance will be instant.
Can I move to a new server?
Yes, once every 30 days. Open the customer portal, click 'Request rebind', confirm, and activate on the new server.
How do I withdraw my referral earnings?
Commissions unlock automatically after the cooldown period (typically 7 days). Once your balance hits the minimum threshold, go to 'My Referrals' in the customer portal and submit a withdrawal request. Transfers to Alipay or WeChat Pay are processed within one business day.
