Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of the SkyView client App and website. Subscription terms below comply with Apple App Store auto-renewable subscription requirements.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using the SkyView client App (iOS / Android / Web), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use this service.
2. Service Description
SkyView is a self-hosted video management client. You must deploy the SkyView server on your own hardware (NAS / mini PC / Raspberry Pi, etc.) to use the service. All video, recordings, and AI detection results are stored on your own hardware. The SkyView team does not operate any video storage service. This App is solely a client tool for accessing your own self-hosted server.
3. In-App Purchases & Auto-Renewable Subscriptions (Apple App Store)
The SkyView Pro features on iOS are unlocked via Apple In-App Purchase. Three options are available:
- Monthly Subscription: ¥28 / month, auto-renewing
- Yearly Subscription: ¥98 / year, auto-renewing
- Lifetime Purchase: ¥268, one-time, unlocks forever, no renewal
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions (Monthly / Yearly) automatically renew for the same billing period via your Apple ID within 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal amount equals the current period amount, subject to Apple's then-current price if Apple has adjusted the price. Billing is collected by Apple via your linked payment method.
Cancellation
You may cancel auto-renewal at any time: open iOS "Settings" → Apple ID (your name at top) → "Subscriptions" → "SkyView" → "Cancel Subscription". Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You may continue to use the purchased features until then.
Refunds
All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple in accordance with Apple Media Services Terms: https://support.apple.com/HT204084 . The SkyView team has no access to your payment data and cannot process refunds directly.
Lifetime Purchase
The Lifetime purchase is a one-time Non-Consumable IAP that permanently unlocks Pro features and can be restored across devices via the same Apple ID using "Restore Purchases". The Lifetime purchase does not conflict with any active subscription you may concurrently hold (though doing so is unnecessary).
4. User Obligations
You agree to:
- Use the service only on hardware, networks, and cameras you are legally authorized to operate
- Not use the service to violate others' privacy (e.g., monitoring premises without consent)
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, crack, or bypass the App's IAP verification logic
- Take sole responsibility for the security and compliance of data on your own server
5. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the SkyView team is not liable for direct or indirect damages caused by network outages, hardware failures, user misconfiguration, or third-party service interruptions (including Apple Push, Apple App Store, 115 Cloud, etc.). AI detection results are advisory only and do not constitute professional security advice.
6. Changes
The SkyView team reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via in-App notice on launch, or by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-laws rules). Any dispute shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may submit the dispute to the people's court with jurisdiction at the SkyView operator's location.
